Ingredients:
For Cocoa:
- 2 4oz bars of 60-70% bittersweet baking bars/chocolate bars chopped
- 2 cups of whole milk, more if you prefer a less strong cocoa
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 c powdered sugar
- 2 sticks of cinnamon
- 1/4-1/2 cup sweet condensed milk
For Garnish:
- freshly whipped cream
- shaved chocolate
- pinch of ground cinnamon
Directions:
Whip the whipping cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form. Set some aside to use later as a garnish, and add the rest to a large saucepan.
Over medium heat, bring the whipping cream, milk, and cinnamon sticks to a simmer. Once it is simmering, add the chopped chocolate and whisk until completely melted. Remove the cinnamon sticks and discard.
Whisk in 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk and taste. Add more if you would like the cocoa sweeter. Pour into cups and top with whipped cream, shaved chocolate, and a dash of cinnamon. Enjoy!
