Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 3 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 5 tablespoons water
- 1 ΒΌ cups shortening
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
Directions
Mix flour and salt in a bowl. Cut in the shortening (use a fork and sort of mix it in until the crumbles are about the size of peas). In a different bowl, mix the other ingredients togehter. Then add them all together and mix with a spoon until it’s all moistened. Divide the dough in half and roll out into two circles. I like to roll it out between layers of plastic wrap or waked paper — so much easier! Put in a pie pan and bake according to the directions for whatever kind of pie you are making!
